Default How long does it take for DMOZ to accept you?
It's been so long that I can't even remember when I submitted my website to DMOZ and It hasn't been accepted yet. I've heard of people waiting 2+ years. Any truths to that? Any information on how long it takes or a way to speed up the process?

this was back in like 2004, I had applied and after 8 months, they added my site

I waited 6 months before, don't think it was ever added.

according to me it will take atleast 1 year submission
and correct some people waiting 2+years

believe it or not, but it took me maybe one month to get accepted into DMOZ..

i was shocked. but stoked.

I waited for over a year and never received acceptance. I gave up after that length of time, not worth the incredibly long wait for me.

I am still waiting. Problem is that I don't remember when I submitted, so I can't give you an exact date.
