I had a good ideal. Why not get a few more ads on the forum then make it PTP , you would get loads more members then

We're trying to stay away from anything PTC right now. We haven't started promoting the forum yet, just few members and some word of mouth. We're planning to develop a custom mod which lets you get free ads on top based on your activity on the forum.

It checks your registration date and your post count to determine when you can start a new thread. You should be able to make new threads by now.

That would be a nice feature to implement (free ads based on activity), shouldn't even be very difficult with vbMarket or something similar you could have members earn credits based on posts and threads started along with activity either based on logging in or reading threads.

I think the reason to stay away from PTP is to keep the content relevant and useful. Im not really familure with how PTP or PTC sites work so I could be way off here.
